A few months ago I was looking for a semi-reliable but cheap VPS (just to have something in a remote location). Inception Hosting caught my
eye on LowEndBox so I tried it.

They offer VPS packages in many sizes, all with a very reasonable price. I have the VPS Micro
package (smallest VPS they offer), with an additional 256MB.

The network has only has been down a single time since I have my
VPS with them. When that happened I was almost instantly emailed with information about the downtime (their DC was being DDoSed) and how
they are planning on avoiding issues like these in the future and after seeing how they react I trust them with my VPS.

The
second time I was contacted customer support was a 256MB upgrade offer (they don't want to oversell their server, so they sold remaining RAM
and diskspace for a one time fee - a great offer!), and yet again I received a reply within minutes!

I'm very satisfied with
my purchase......

Answer: We don't really have an 'ideal' however our services are unmanaged, we will always help but customers should
have a basic understanding of what they are signing up for.

Answer: Read as many reviews as possible, and submit at least 2 support tickets before signing up to see what the
response time is.

Answer: I think the future is likely to end up being almost exclusively cloud based over the next 5 - 10 years as
energy prices rise making dedicated / wasted resources impractical
