Green hosting so far as I know are hosts who offset their emissions through other programs such as planting
trees, and in some other cases buying power from green sources. I support companies that do this or do what
they can to reduce power usage, and in time we will follow this path ourselves. One way we can do this is
through using power efficient servers and hard drives which reduce consumption.

Answer 4)Green hosting is simply a hosting company that uses "green" technology. What is green technology? Some
examples are servers that use a lower power requirement, use energy credits to power their operation, or in
some cases, just provides a complete remote workforce, eliminating carbon emissions caused by the daily
commute.
