give you a list of requirements and may specify Linux or Windows hosting or one of the requirements may be
MySQL (more oftern on Linux but also available on Windows vs MSSQL Windows only) which will help you decide
which platform is required. If you are unsure which platform is best for your application then your developer
or web host should be able to advise.
